CIS ONLINE

Under the present rules contractors have to validate each sub-contractor with the revenue. Failure to validate a sub- contractor will result in the sub-contractor being stopped at a higher level of tax. Contractors will also have to do a monthly return which will result in penalties for any lateness or error. Contractors will also have to issue payment schedules to each contractor on a monthly basis. Finally Contractors will also have to make a monthly declaration that their contractors are self employed and not employed.

At present these returns can be submitted both manually and online. However, the benefits of submitting online is an instant acknowledgment of your filing.

Tax Return Online Services can assist all contractors and sub-contractors with the filing requirements, either as a full or partial service.
