Tax Returns

Tax Return Online Services Ltd was established in 2003 to offer a simple cost effective service which ensures your Self Assessment Tax Return is completed accurately and on time by a fellow ACCA* qualified accountant with over 25 years’ experience of tax and accounting laws and a registered agent. Thus freeing up your time and ensuring that you get all the tax benefits you are entitled to!

Why waste valuable time visiting an accountant when you can have the same professional level at the end of your computer.

Please note that this is a personal service and you will be dealt with by the same Accountant at all times, unlike other online services this is not a “form filling” exercise but the same professional level of service you would receive at your local Accountants for a fraction of the price.

*ACCA – is the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants –

If you have reservations about using an on-line accountant please visit the ACCA (Associated of Certified Chartered Accountants) site where you can search their data base to find my credentials;

Please note many online sites are advertising being HMRC registered agents, this does not mean they are qualified accountants. In fact the term “accountant” is not a protected word so if someone is calling themselves an accountant then be sure you check that they are qualified and registered with an accountancy body for example the ACCA.

Unsure if you need to fill out a tax return? The list below sets out the main reasons why you would need to fill in a tax return

  • Self Employment
  • Partner in a business
  • Company Director
  • Savings and Investment Income of more than £10,000 was received in the tax year
  • Untaxed Income
  • Income from Property
  • Foreign Income that is liable to UK tax
  • Employment income where you wish to claim for expenses or professional subscriptions
  • If your total income exceeds £10,000 in the tax year

For full details you can check the revenue site on or please contact us for more information.

If you wish to proceed you will receive a quotation (prices start from £95 + VAT) if you do not reply to this quote - you will owe nothing. (Remember accountancy services are tax deductible against many forms of income and you will receive an invoice for any work carried out).

If, however, you wish to proceed you will be asked to submit details of all your income, either by email, fax or special post depending on the nature of information required an the resources that are available to you.

Your completed Self Assessment form will then be submitted directly to the Inland Revenue (or direct to you if you prefer).

You will be given unlimited tax advice on any relevant income you have and you are free to email any questions relating to your Self Assessment form without any additional charges.

Tax Return Online Services also offer other Accountancy services such as regular bookkeeping and preparation of year end accounts - just email for a no-obligation quote, or alternatively visit

We are not connected to or affiliated with HMRC, DWP or any other official government body. We offer a bespoke, value for money, tax return assistance service for which we levy a charge. You will be dealing with a certified chartered accountant at all times and unlike other web sites offering tax returns online you are not the one filling in the return. Help sheets and pro forma spreadsheets are available to ensure you claim what you are entitled to and that your book-keeping is kept up to date in a user friendly way. You may submit your tax return directly to HMRC at no charge, without the benefits of our services, by visiting the official website.
