Problems paying tax because of COVID-19?

HMRCs are continuing to follow government advice and are regularly reviewing their processes to make sure they are supporting customers. If your clients are concerned about being able to pay their loan charge or disguised remuneration settlement because of COVID-19, or any other reason, we can agree instalment arrangements with them. We agree these on a case-by-case basis where necessary and can tailor them to meet individual circumstances. If you would like to discuss this, you can contact HMRC directly.

We’d like to help you clear your tax debt in instalments but we need some more detailed information from you first.

We’ll need to know:

·         your reference number

·         what you’ve done to try to pay the bill

·         about any savings or investments you have

·         if you can pay some of the bill now

·         your bank details
