Paying your Tax Bill

Please remember if you deferred your July payment on account, this will be added to your 31st January payment.  If you are in a situation where you are unable to pay your tax bill, please contact HMRC to set up a payment plan.

If you have a payment on account due for next year – it is possible to reduce this if your expected tax is going to be less than the 19/20 return you have filed – please contact me if this is the case.

We’d like to help you clear your tax debt in instalments but we need some more detailed information from you first.

We’ll need to know:

  • your reference number
  • what you’ve done to try to pay the bill
  • about any savings or investments you have
  • if you can pay some of the bill now
  • your bank details
